Vi tar rådene fra myndighetene på alvor og tillater kun 200 besøkende av gangen inne i parken. Vi anbefaler alle besøkende om å benytte munnbind og holde avstand til hverandre.

Vi anbefaler at man kjøper billetter på forhånd.

ROSE CASTLE 2020

This year, it will be 80 years since Norway was invaded in 1940, and 75 years since its liberation in 1945. Rose Castle 2020 is an art installation and an educational project which aims to tell the sto-ry of the occupation of Norway and of the fundamental principles of democracy, the constitutional state and humanism which were invalidated by the occupation

We want to tell the story of the war without demonising or glorifying, by focusing our narrative on individuals and their choices.

THE SCHOOL PROGRAM

We have our own educational program for school classes who want to visit the Rose Castle. It is a road map with texts and assignments that guides the students through the park. The painting exhibition Norway during World War II, suitable for secondary school and higher education. The geometry exhibition on the values ​​of the rule of law, democracy and humanism is suitable for everyone

Lille Kjell har slått seg ned i Roseslottet for å studere «De ufødtes stjerne» og for å lede gjestene gjennom geometri-utstillingen på den 250 meter lange «Melkeveien.»
